Student AI Prompts for Study, Homework and Exams
A standalone guide to the Students category on Codextroop Prompt Library — study plans, NCERT/CBSE help, notes, quizzes, homework hints, and essays. Not the AI/ML tutor post.

Student AI prompts (not the AI/ML tutor)
This page is only about the Students category: school and college work — plans, explanations, notes, revision, quizzes, homework, exams, and writing.
It is not the Adaptive AI/ML Master Prompt guide. That post is a separate technical-tutor recipe for machine-learning topics. Use that only if you want a 15-stage AI/ML coach. Use this page for Class 6–12, NCERT/CBSE, college essays, and exam weeks.
What you get in Students
Open Students, pick a task, fill class/board/subject, copy, paste into ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini. Prompts stay structured so the model does not dump a textbook essay.
- Study plans that match the hours you actually have
- Explanations at your class level, including Hindi + English
- Notes, recaps, and flashcards from a chapter or messy notes
- Quizzes and mixed questions with trap-aware explanations
- Homework hints — coaching, not a finished answer sheet
- Exam prep without ratta: marks, mistakes, last-week strategy
- Research questions, essay outlines, and project structure
Start with these copy-ready prompts
- Exam Countdown PlanBuild a day-by-day plan from today to the paper.
- NCERT / CBSE Answer HelperShape answers the way Indian school papers mark them.
- Homework Helper — Hints, Not AnswersGet the next hint without a full solution dump.
- Daily 10-Question QuizActive recall at the difficulty you set.
- Essay PlannerOutline, argument, and structure before you write.
- Teach, Test, ReviseA school-subject tutor loop — not the AI/ML master prompt.
How to use a student prompt
- Fill class or level (Class 10, Class 12, college) so the explanation stays on-board
- Name the subject and chapter — “Photosynthesis, NCERT Class 10” beats “science”
- Paste your notes or the exact question when the prompt asks for source text
- For homework, keep hints-only prompts. Do not ask for a submit-ready copy if that breaks school rules
- If the answer is too hard, regenerate with “Explain Like I'm in Class [X]” or “Make This Easy in Indian English”
Browse by job, not by AI/ML
On the Students hub, use the task chips: Study, Learn, Notes, Revise, Practice, Exam, Homework, Research, Write, Project. Filter by class group (Primary, 9–10, 11–12, College) and subject (Maths, Physics, English, and so on).
- All student promptsFull Students category — study, exam, homework, writing.
- Study plansWeekly, last-minute, and countdown planners.
- Learning & explanationsClass-level explainers and analogies.

Common mistakes
- Using the AI/ML master prompt for board exam science — it is built for technical ML topics, not NCERT answers
- Leaving class/board blank so the model writes college-level text for Class 8
- Asking for a full homework solution you will submit as your own
- Pasting a whole textbook chapter without saying what the question is
