Palette to Prompt: Turn a Photo’s Colors into an Image Prompt
Upload a reference photo, extract the palette in your browser, and copy a Midjourney-ready color prompt. The site does not generate the image.
“Make it look like this photo” usually means the colors, not a copy of the picture. Palette to Prompt reads a reference image in your browser, names the hues, and writes a prompt you can paste into Midjourney, Flux, or Stable Diffusion.
What stays on your device
The photo is used to extract colors. This page does not generate an image and does not need an account. You leave with hex values, color names, and a text prompt. You generate the picture in your own image tool.
How to get a usable prompt
- Pick a reference where the colors are the point: a saree, a film still, a product photo, a painting.
- Drop it into Palette to Prompt and check the locked swatches. Remove a color that is only a background accident.
- Copy the prompt and add your subject. The palette should describe the grade, not replace the person or product.
- If the photo must keep a face, start from an identity-preserving prompt in the library and paste the palette lines into the color section.
A palette prompt will not restyle a portrait by itself. Pair it with a prompt that already locks identity, pose, and clothing if that is the job. The Japanese art style and same face collections are built for that.
